WORKSHOPS
An intensive workshop focusing on the interaction between character, performance, and the actors breath. ‘The Dynamic Actor’ encourages performers to explore breath as an essential tool for the modern actor, both in performance and for the development of character. Combining elements of Stanislavsky, Lecoq, and their own research, Ewan guides participants towards a practical understanding of the performer as a physical force, occupying space.
THE DYNAMIC ACTOR
CLOWN/ GROTESQUE CLOWN
Built upon their intensive research into clowning, ‘Clown/ Grotesque Clown’ provides a foundational knowledge to the red nose European Clown and an introduction to the idea of the Grotesque Clown. Performers are encouraged to deconstruct their own manner and motion, to discover what it means to truly embrace the elements that we often suppress.
BESPOKE WORKSHOPS
Ewan is available to lead workshops exploring physical comedy, stand up, classical acting, ritual theatre, directing, voice, mask, and puppetry across a broad range of ages.
